Is my body a problem
Have you ever thought of your body as a Universe unto itself?
Your body can be one balanced and whole system when it is healthy and everything is running according to its own pattern and function.
We can get in our own way beginning in our Mother’s womb!
We are formed from a DNA string and chromosomes which could be imperfect and then we are fed through a tube, so depending on our Mother’s food, medication and liquid intake, we are affected. Even though we are in a protective womb, we feel vibrations, both positive and negative;
we hear voices, both loving and angry and we feel excitement, anger and love. Even the thought-energy of our Mother can affect us. We are an energy being who is growing a body so we are tuned into all the energy around us even though we are hidden from view.
Is my body a problem?
Our bodies are phenomenal! They are perfectly designed and pretty much take care of themselves when we provide them with what they need. What do bodies need to stay healthy? They need nutrient-rich food that has not been poisoned with herbicides, pesticides and fungicides. This kind of food is not the food that is usually on sale, so unless we can afford it or are growing it ourselves, we often don’t give our bodies what they need in the food department.
Let’s talk about liquids… Water is required by the entire body to function properly and optimally. What is in your water? The structure of the water you are drinking may not be the kind of water which your body craves and requires to do its job. Any kind of filter is better than no filter, but the better the filtration system, the more useful is the water to your body. When you don’t drink enough plain water-not water with tea or water with coffee or flavoured water-your brain and all your organs deteriorate because they cannot serve you their best without enough good water.
Can you notice the signs your body gives you that it doesn’t have nutrient-rich food nor clean water?
Most probably not! Because our bodies are so marvellously designed, they compensate year after year and we think we are doing just fine for possibly decades and then when it can’t keep up later in life, the deficiencies come to the surface and you have various sicknesses, disorders, conditions that seemingly came from nowhere. Just like smoking appears to not affect you in the least for decades, one day the body will begin to show you through respiratory symptoms that something is very wrong.
Thankfully, these days, more people are becoming aware of the importance of healthy food and water intake. You may have to pay more for food and eat less but that is how nutrient-dense food works - it takes less of it to fill the body’s requirements. If we do a little research, we can figure out how to provide ourselves and our families with healthy food and water.
What else do we need to stay healthy?
We need physical activity. It doesn’t have to be at a gym. Keeping active during the day rather than sitting all the time is enough! Unfortunately, a lot of us are sitting all day in our jobs. This messes up our body’s own innate waste removal system which is unable to move itself along without help. This is called the lymph system. It is truly a remarkable gift our body provides us to process undesirable substances such as toxins, poisons, trapped proteins, chemicals and cellular waste and move them out of the body.
The lymph system has no pump like the circulatory system has with the heart. So if we are not regularly moving, walking or stretching, the lymph fluid slows down and creates blockages. These blockages can cause havoc in the body, some of which you can recognize outwardly such as cellulite, edema, puffiness in your face and many which will show up internally as symptoms of illness.
The lymphatic system covers the entire body and can greatly affect many of the body’s essential functions, including our immune system. It is vital to keep the fluids of both the circulatory and lymph systems moving properly to ensure that oxygen and other nutrients reach the tissues through the circulatory system, and that cellular debris from the tissues is taken away via the lymphatic system. Movement of body fluids is essential for health at a cellular level. The lymph system literally cleans the spaces between cells and allows waste products and toxins to slowly and safely flow out through normal elimination channels.
When toxins accumulate in the lymphatic system the body can become sluggish and sick. When clogged lymph nodes become lymph lumps, the fatty deposits formed create bumps and dimples. We call that condition cellulite. It is important to keep the lymph moving to maintain vibrant health.
In Ayurvedic medicine, the lymph system is the first system they treat, but in Western medicine may be overlooked until it becomes a major health concern. The lymph travels with the nerves, arteries and veins and is by itself twice as big as the arterial blood supply system. It removes waste from every cell in your body as well as regulating the immune system.
How does our lymph system get clogged up?
Poor nutrition Stress
Environmental toxins Constipation
Hormone imbalances Lack of exercise
Digestive imbalances Pathogens
Normal aging process Injuries
The lymphatic system is like the drain in your sink. If your drains are clogged would you clean it or leave it? Obviously, you would clean the drain and keep it unclogged going forward. The lymphatic system is the biggest drain our body has and it can stay clogged for years, forcing us to adapt to an environment of toxins that stress and weaken our immunity and block other detox pathways. As we age, our ability to detoxify well and eliminate waste efficiently will determine longevity and optimal health.
How can I tell if I may have lymphatic congestion or blockages?
· Swelling in the fingers (rings get tight) or ankles
· Soreness and/or stiffness upon waking
· Puffiness in the eye area and/or face
· Feeling tired
· Bloating / Holding onto water
· Weight gain and extra belly fat
· Itchy skin
· Breast swelling or soreness with each cycle
· Dry skin
· Brain fog
· Cold hands and feet
· Swollen glands
· Low immunity-increased colds or flu
· Mild rash or acne
· Hypersensitivity
· Food sensitivities
· Mild headaches
· Worsened allergies
· Occasional constipation, diarrhea and/or mucous in the stool
These symptoms can be linked to poor waste removal in the lymphatic system. The lymph system has only one function: it is designed for detoxification. The immune system’s B and T cells are most active in the lymph nodes of the body. If the lymph is sluggish, our immune response may be compromised.
The majority of the lymph in the body surrounds the gut and digestive imbalances can irritate the intestinal villi which are critical for proper lymph flow, detoxification, assimilation and immunity.
Also, iodine deficiency can cause lymphatic congestion because in the body it helps to mitigate the effects of a toxic environment, supporting the lymph at a cellular level.
How can I get my lymph moving again!
If your lymph has been blocked for a while, it will take time to unblock it and get it flowing regularly and rhythmically as it should. Fortunately, Homeopathic Family Practice has an amazing treatment which works to remove blockages and get your lymph fluid going again. This is the Bio-Electric Lymphatic Drainage or BELD treatment.
How does that work?
There is a light beam generator which emits a stream of photons (negative ions). These are known for their antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. This light beam with a heartbeat pulsation improves the flow in blood and lymph, while simultaneously loosening waste from cells.
Can everyone benefit from BELD treatment?
Almost everyone. Contraindications to BELD are pregnancy, electrical implants or pacemakers, recent surgery and pins, staples, or metal plates anywhere in the body.
Get a jumpstart on moving your lymph and removing lymph congestion and stagnation with BELD.
